Hello, new to the fitbit community. l just purchased the ulta Hr Thursday. when l went onto my dashboard l could see all my workouts logged for Fri, sat and sun but l worked out 3 times Monday and nothing was logged. l had to go back today and manually log my workouts in. so l guess my question would be why did fitbit log my activities the first few days and not yesterday and today? Am l supposed to manually log my own workouts in?

were your workouts longer than 15 minutes each (or whatever default you've set up for each activity)? were they something basic like walking or running, or were they something that the device might misconstrue as normal activity (like bicycling, since your arm isn't moving it might not show as working out)? I usually manually start my activity anyway so that I can get a "map" of where I walked.

Hello my workouts are usually at least 40 minutes to an hour long. Just seems weird that fitbit recognized my activities and logged them the first 3 days then stopped after that. l have just been manually logging them since yesterday. guess that is what l will be doing from now on.

I decided to try doing my lunchtime walk without going into the app and clicking on track workout... this time it did NOT pick up on my walk. I guess I'll manually do it again too.
