Hello @Faith_S, it's nice to have new faces around the Fitbit Community. Note the LG tribute 2 is not listed as compatible in our List Of Compatible Device.
While many Android devices share the same specification with compatible mobile devices, not all devices are able to be accessed by apps like the Fitbit App or doesn't support feature like text / call notifications. Since this phone is not listed, we cannot guarantee it will work flawlessly. Although it wont hurt to try the steps from this post to enable this feature.
