Aria 2 not recognizing me

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Ten days ago my Aria2 scale worked exactly as expected. Left for 10 days with no weigh-ins. When I returned, and weighed, I was recognized as a "Guest".

Any suggestions.

Hi @tbogart. Welcome back! It's great to see you here.

I'm here to help you with your Aria 2, so it can recognize you correctly. Since your scale is able to sync, there may be an issue with the weight and height information stored in your account. Please verify the following steps:

  1. Go to the Fitbit app and tap on the Account icon.
  2. Tap on your name > Personal Stats and make sure your height and weight are correct.
  3. Restart the scale by removing the batteries for 15 seconds.
  4. Calibrate it by weighing 3 times, making sure to reassign each "guest" weight back to you.
  5. The Aria 2 should recognize you by your 3rd weigh in.

Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the reply. Problem may be solved. I was on vacation and put on about 8 pounds. Machine might have gotten confused by the difference between the last and next weigh in. Anyway, yesterday I reassigned the "GUEST" weight to my name and today everything went as it should.
Thanks again for the reply.

Hi @tbogart. Nice to see you around. I'm sorry for my delayed response.

Thanks for sharing that, as well for the steps that you tried. I believe your scale was just confused about your information, and now you know what you can do if you have a similar situation in the future. I'd like to invite you to visit our Discussion Board where you can share your experiences, meet people and create new topics.

Catch you later! Cat Happy
