Aria air - Syncing issues

This issue was brought up in another post by someone else but I couldn't reply to that one so I have to start a new post.

I have a Google Pixel phone. I recently bought the Aria Air. I was able to connect the scales to my Fitbit app and the first weight collected when I connected the scale was successfully synchronised. But after that it would not synchronise. So I have to enter the weights in manually. I tried all of the suggested things such as having no other Bluetooth devices connected, being in the Fitbit app "today" screen, etc. I also tried the troubleshooting such as restarting. I even factory rest the scales and re connected them to the app. This led to the same thing as last time. The first weight when I first connect the scales (after the factory reset) is successful but no subsequent weights are synchronised.

If you still can, return the scale. They don't fix the issue that has been around for months

Hi Kajolas,

I found out from another post that I can force stop the app before each time I use the scales. This works. But unfortunately, I have to do it every time. So it is about the same amount of effort as manually entering in my weight. It seems that the app is broken and maybe can't handle someone using the Fitbit scales and a Fitbit watch. So if I don't use my watch between weigh ins, I may not need to force stop the app. But this seems like a very impractical solution as I need the watch more than I need the scales.

Returning the scales seems to be the right thing to do, but I'm still going to wait until they fix this bug.

Mine haven't synced in over 700days and always have to manually enter weigt on the app.

Tried resetting scales, deleting device from app and even deleting app.

Also tried adding scales to my partners Fitbit app and they wont sync with hers.

Looks like the scales are ready for recycling which is a shame as when they did sync I liked the data they provided.
