Aria batteries drain fast

Our aria keeps burning thru batteries. We took it apart, the front two feet are broken so the scale is always on but because we are out of warranty we out of luck!

Hi @SGT58,

 

Did you buy the scale directly through Fitbit or through a third party retailer?  If you bought it from a third party retailer, I would consider exchanging it with them if I could.

It was a Christmas present. So no idea when and where it was purchased.

I had the identical problem.
Heavy battery usage, and then it appeared to rebooting or sensing all the time.
I fussed with the feet a little, and it seemed to be fixed, but then another set of batteries went, and after that, a new set just showed sensing constantly.
I tried taking it apart, but I wasn't successful at that.

It is several years old, and a Christmas gift, so I presume mine is out of warranty.

I can't decide if I want to buy another $100+ scale with features that I like, or a $10 scale with springs that will last for 40 years.
