Aria scale won’t connect to WiFi

This seems to be an ongoing issue. My last scale broke so Fitbit sent me a new one. So did Retrofit (free) and their customer service got it to me next day whereas Fitbit took multiple days.

Now that I’m not using Retrofitme any more (they’re discontinuing the program I’m on after 6 years) I’ve been trying to get my Aria 2 to sync so I can use it.

it scrolls the website stuff, it says it sync’d to my account...but it didn’t. So I just deleted it and am trying to set it up from scratch but...it can’t find my network!!

I’ve  wasted a couple of hours on this already and am not inclined to spend any more.

what do you suggest other than ‘recycling’?

Hello @Graham736 I have moved your question about the Aria 2 scale out of the thread about the Aria scale since the units setup is different.

Has your Aria 2 ever been connected to your account? Is your network comparable? When trying to set it up, do you get any error messages? What device is being used to set the scale up with?

Have you looked at the setup instructions

Yes, my network is compatible. This was a replacement Aria provided by Fitbit. The previous Aria worked ... until it didn’t ! Nothing in the network changed.

I’m not sure if it has ever been connected.

I’m not receiving any error messages.

I’m trying to configure through my laptop

Of course I’ve looked at the set up instructions

This was a replacement, nothing has changed with my network.

I’m trying to set up with my laptop. Tried setting up directly and through the app.

I’m about to trash the scale and go back to Withings.

I’ve given upon the Aria 2. Don’t have any more time to waste on it. The suggestions are all very obvious and clipped from a response sheet. Very basic, any degree of service on my account would reveal that this is a replacement for my last Aria, provided by Fitbit - if the last one worked on the same network with the same equipment this one should. Back to Withings because I know it works...for 1/2 price. One Aria 2 heading for recycling.
