Aria weight accuracy

We’ve had the Aria 1 for a while. I’ve noticed that after I weigh myself, and the scale finishes syncing, that if I weigh myself again I will weigh about 4 lbs less. Each successive time, after that, it will show the lower weight. I weigh myself several mornings a week and this happens every time. Which weight should I believe?  My weight at the gym is usually closer to the higher weight, but this is later in the day after food and water so I don’t know if this is a reliable comparison. My app, of course, records all the weights so my graph looks like a zigzag.

Do you keep your scales in place all the time or do you move them once you have weighed yourself?

I'm wondering if this extract from the manual could be the issue:

"If your Aria is picked up and moved between measurements, or stored
sideways against a wall when not in use, the scale will go through a calibration
process the next time it is used for weighing. Up to two consecutive weigh-ins
will then be required before your scale is recalibrated and again displays
consistently accurate measurements"
