My Aria Smart Scale stopped syncing. I’ve seen in the forums that many people have had the same issue and Fitbit marked them resolved even though no solution was provided. Is this a ploy to get customers to buy the Aria 2?

I gave up trying to get my Aria to connect to WIFI and jus tased it as a basic scale .... but decided to give it one more try ..... I follow all the directions and get to the "connecting" part and then ...NOTHING ....so I am about ready to give up the fit bit and go with something else .... like an Apple scale ....
after all this time this issue seems as if it should have been fixed.
