Recently my WiFi was changed to Bell FIBE and thus the SSID was changed. When trying to change the SSID on my ARIA (old - V39) by following the procedures on the Fitbit site, nothing works, I cannot change the WiFi name (SSID) that's on the scale. Fitbit Support was not successful in helping.
Resetting the ARIA to 'factory default' doesn't work either. Cannot delete the scale from my account either, nor erase the data. Deletion instructions do not work, there is no place where you can simply delete the ARIA.
So, can anyone out there shed any light on this problem? (as said, Fitbit Tech Support couldn't resolve it)
Oh yes, the ARIA was working perfectly before the wifi change.

I have the same problem - did you manage to fix it?

I figured it out myself!! After much angst & multiple attempts following the FB online information I discovered that those instructions do not work with a laptop or PC with WiFi despite the video what they show. The only way I got it to finally work was using the Fitbit APP on my iPhone.
Ignoring the fact that I already have an ARIA scale on my account, I launched the app & then "added a new device". I then followed the instructions of the App, being careful not to 'drop' the screen, just move from screen to screen as instructed. (from the app to the wifi setup & back). It worked just fine & interestingly it did not "add" another ARIA, it just over-wrote the one that was already there (I kept the same scale name)! Just to be sure, I did it again, switching to a different wifi SSID (I have a guest wifi active) and it worked again.
I never did find out where you can 'delete' the scale, but can confirm that this 'process' works fine. I used an iPhone 7 with the FB App, but imagine it should work ok on any smartphone with the FB app.
karent123 - give it a try & good luck!!

So glad I was able to help! It was very frustrating not getting a lot of help from FB support. The community forums are great!

Setting up a new device by adding an Aria scale is the only way I could change the wifi as well. I tried once, and there were two different wifi networks with my name. The first one gave an error, (as it is probably 5.0 Ghz but is not marked as such,) and the 2nd time I tried the other network (which must be the 2.4 Ghz.)
