Hi, I have had an Aria 2 for years, and recently upgraded to a Charge 6.
i am having the same problems many have described. Despite my recent weigh in being less than a kilo different from my last weigh in 2 weeks ago, the scale now only recognises me as a guest. For reasons that can only relate to the sadism of some Google coder, the scale no longer logs guests and so I cannot pull up my weigh in despite a successful sync and re-register the weigh in to me, and that means I can only register my weight manually.
Why on Earth would Google make this change? The scale worked perfectly for many years.
i would like someone from Google/Fitbit to respond to the community with a fix that works, or a timeline for a software update that will sort this problem.
Otherwise, I’m sure I’m not the only Fitbit user who will move to the competition.
Hello @JohnnytheY and welcome to the Community. It's my understanding that Fitbit/Google removed the guest weights over privacy complaints. Fitbit claimed that weights are private when they weren't. My Aria 2 will make me a guest for no apparent reason, too. My husband never has this problem. This workaround works for me.
Yes, I will move to a different brand when this workaround stops working.
