I am not sure if you can help me now.  How do I know if my router can work with a 802.11 device?

how do I change the security setting?

Welcome, @Blamonic! It's great to see you around.

Thanks for the information in your post. All of the routers work with the 802.11 protocol, what you need to check is if your router is configured to the 802.11 b/g/n protocol to work with Aria or Aria 2. To do so you need to access to your router's settings, but you'll need the username and password (generally this information is included with the router or you can visit the manufacturer's website to get that information) to login and check those settings. You can also call your internet's service provider as they can check and setup the router's settings from their end.

Hope this information helps.
