Liquid coming from Aria scale

My aria scale has a clear liquid leaking out of it - what could it be?  Nothing was spilled on it. It is coming from inside the scale. I would like to know what type of liquid I am dealing with before handling it to be safe. Is it acid from the batteries or is there another source of liquid in the scale?  Thanks!

Hi @Nateyd  the batteries are small and I doubt that much liquid would be coming out of them. To protect your floor, I'd at least put a plastic bag under the scale and wipe up any residue with paper towels.
