Stopped syncing. Displays version number.

For about a week my Aria 2 has not been syncing. The display changed. Now, after I step on it,  it displays waving lines and then tells me to step off the scale. It then starts the syncing process. The syncing process abruptly stops and it displays "version 23.27.2"
