So I bought my Aria 5 weeks ago and every seemed to be going ok, some slightly strange peaks and troughs but basing things on the weekly average shows a nice steady decrease.
However, back on thursday I got up and weighed myself at 79.6kg and 20.4% BF.
When I got home that night, it was weighing me at 92kg and an unknown BF and was now seeing me as a Guest [Makes sense as anything +/- 8lbs and it won't recognize you]
Now, I can have some interesting jumps in weight which I put down mainly to water, but I really don't think I put on 12.4kg in just 12 hour...
It's now Sunday night, and it's still seeing me as a guest at 92kg+. When I first stand on it it flashes up 78kg for a milisecond before jumping to 92kg+ again.
I've tried pulling the battery, the unit is on a nice solid wooden floor and it hasn't been moved. The Wifi is still the same with no changes. Still on original batteries and still nice and full.
I'm really scratching my head here, does anyone have any experience with this? Is it a busted sensor that needs to be RMA'd? Or can i have some kind of a hard reset and start again?
Any help would be much appreciated, Matni

@Matni A warm welcome to our Fitbit Community! Seems odd that your Aria scale is not reading your weight nor your body fat percentage accurately even though you have removed the batteries and it's placed on a flat surface. Take a look at your profile settings such as your gender, weight and height and see if they are correct. If so, try setting up your scale from scratch and test your Aria's behavior.
Let me know how it goes my friend and I'll be around!

@Bvarecha Thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria scale is not tracking your weight accurately. I you haven't done so, please restart and re-calibrate your scale by taking out the batteries for 15 seconds and put them back in. Once this has been done, weigh yourself 5 consecutive times. Also, make sure that your Aria is placed on an even or flat surface.
Hope this helps and keep me posted on the outcome!

I was seeing a steady consistent drop due to exercise and diet. A couple days before New Years there were 2 days of 2kg drops that brought me to the goal of my diabetic doctor. Elated , I celebrated New Years with beer and pizza. The next day I had jumped 6kg on m ARIA. The scale no longer recognized me, only a ghost called GUEST. I replaced the batteries, went through that convoluted setup routine so many times ( there are few times when I wish there is a hardwired ethernet connection, this is one of them). It was still seeing guest until I set the weight in personal settings to exactly match the displayed mass in decimals of KG. 3 weight checks and I now believe I over ate...but not that much. I suspect the batteries dropped off OR since there was no security, the scale had been hacked for someones entertainment .LOL

You forgot to enter the hoop that needs to be jumped through...it is supposed to be a weigh scale.
