We have a brand new Aria Air scale, with the brand new batteries that came with it. It is synced to my husband’s FitBit. He has sent me an invite, I have accepted it on a computer, it takes me to FitBit.com but nothing happens. There are no instructions to complete the set up process. After spending over a hour on the phone with Customer Service the only solution they could come up with was that the batteries are run down, despite the fact that we were literally standing on the scale while on the phone with them, and the batteries are fine. They are sending a new scale because this one is “defective”. I am sure it’s not and we will continue to have the same issue and Customer Service has no clue how to trouble shoot. Very frustrating!

You don't need to set it up, you say your husband already has. Since you have tried to set it up. You may have removed the scale from your husband's account.
I believe the Aria Air will work with the win 10 app but will need to read the manual.
Normally you would accept the invite, open the Fitbit app and weigh yourself. The scale will sync through the Fitbit app to the account that the user is logged into..
