Aria Air Scale: It pretty much is a regular scale that does nothing more than your typical cheap Wal Mart scale, but costs $50. It doesn't sync. I don't have time every morning to try to troubleshoot this scale when I'm in a rush in the morning trying to get to work. "Take the battery out for 10 seconds, "Turn it on an off", "Log in and out of your fit bit app and then out and in and then restart your whole phone", disconnect the scale from your account then reconnect it", "step on the scale, then step off, then step back on", "try taking the batteries out again". Is this a game? Then you don't give me a shipping slip? Dang Fit Bit.
I'll just go ahead and have to pay for shipping to mail your malfunctioning and frustrating product back to you. One unhappy customer here that lost money buying this scale.

Just received my Aria Air from amazon this morning. No luck trying to sync with Fitbit Ionic on Windows phone or on Windows Surface Pro 4 tablet. Showing up as paired to bluetooth, but not recording weight. Will try calling support Monday morning if I can't get it working this weekend.

When I go to Account and then +Set Up A Device, it only shows Aria and Aria 2. Does not show Aria Air! I'm using the Windows fitbit app on Windows 10.

Hello,
I just received my WITHINGS Body + scale at 75CHF ... around 80$
Very simple configuration, less than 5 minutes ...
I notice that the original subject NO SYNC has been closed ...
I leave without regret the Fitbit brand, its lack of seriousness and its catastrophic communication, despite its very innovative products

I just got off the phone with Fitbit technical support. Aria Air scales are only supported by Android and iOS devices. Anyone who uses the most widely used operating system in the world, Microsoft Windows, is out of luck. I have the Fitbit app on my Microsoft Windows phone and tablet. It only has Aria and Aria 2 listed. Aria Air users on Windows are out of luck. Hopefully the app developers can update the Windows app by adding Aria Air. Very disappointed.

@MikeTheD The Aria Air isn't compatible with the Fitbit app for Windows 10. It requires a compatible Android/Apple device.

@MikeTheD Sorry that I responded late to your earlier post. I didn't scroll to the latest posts to see that your question about Windows 10 was answered. Fitbit has really been moving away from Windows 10. None of the current trackers or smartwatches can be set up with Windows 10. I'm sorry, but this information is likely to make you more disappointed.

I think not supporting Windows and Windows 10 is a huge mistake by Fitbit. I guess by Google buying Fitbit they can exclude Windows users. I'm not interested in Android or iOS. I guess I will have to look for other smartwatches and scales in the future. Ridiculous.

Same problem with my new Airia Air. I'm using Android. I've updated the firmware, reset it, deleted and readded to my profile. It's very inconsistent in its connection. Adding it to my profile took a long time, trying to sync it is an exercise in randomness as to when it decides to connect - taking significant time. It doesn't calculate BMI at all. At this point, it's a plain scale with lots of broken functionality.

Split your bands 2.4 and 5 - then turn off 5 and set 2.4 to channel 11

Sammie - The Aria Air is a Bluetooth scale. Aria Air does not work with Wi-Fi.

Having the same problem worked the first day but haven't synced since.

My Aria Air worked for one day and I can't get it to sync again. I will be refurning it, I hope I don't have to switch to all Samsung to get these simple trackers functions. I had the Aria before this and it just stopped syncing too. Fitbit better make corrections or they'll lose their customers to other tracking systems.
