Guys, I recently had a minor link in my bathroom sink and some water got onto my Aria 2.
Initially it lit up (but display was faded) and now it wont turn on at all and there's condensation on the screen. Eek have I completely buggered it or can I still hold out hope?
Keen to hear from anyone who's experienced something similar and whether there are any tips or tricks to try to fix it.
Thanks heaps!

@evemayam welcome to our Fitbit Community! I totally understand how frustrating this is for you since your Aria 2 shows condensation on the screen due to water contact.
You can go ahead and try the workaround that shared @Northern-Light. Also, take out the batteries and clean the batteries' compartment and contacts with a cotton swab to dry it out. Finally, try a new set of batteries and see if your Aria 2 gets back to life.
Keep me posted on the outcome!

i have a water and aria problem too. i used your suggestion to dry the compartment and contacts. the aria now lights up and says "hi! sensing, sensing, sensing". every once in a while i see "step..." and then more sensing. i have stayed on the scale a good time. have i given up too soon? is there something wrong? i wonder whether i need to start all over as though it is a new scale. it has been a long time between the water event and my trying to bring it back to life.
also, i removed the fitbit software from my desktop computer while the aria wasn't working. the software kept opening when i booted up and i couldn't get rid of it.
if i do need to start over, how? it has been a long time since i bought the aria and i don't remember start-up.
thank you. i hope something works because i so like not having to write down my weight history with this scale.
