issue deleting Aria scale from FitBit app

I have looked up several ways to delete my Aria scale from my app and none work. There is no option to delete it in settings or in the "connected to FitBit" page even though I see the scale listed there. Suggestions welcome!

When you see it on the "connected to fitbit" page, tap on it there to go to its page. There you will see trash can at upper right.

P.S. Apparently works for Android but not for iPhone.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
