It's the beginning of a New Year (new decade even!) which can be daunting. It's so easy to forget newly created goals and get bogged down in the distractions of the day-to-day. To stay motivated, I think it's important to remember (as the above illustrates) that there's often a leap of faith in achieving our goals. Will it be worth it? Will I achieve it? Am I willing to sacrifice other things to get there? The answer is that we often don't know, but there's some faith involved and we won't know unless we make the jump.
Another tip of mine for actually achieving my goals, is to book time on my calendar. This ensures I don't get distracted with other things or social invites and stay focused. For example, my goal for 2020 is to finally (!) finish a non-work related online course that I'm interested in. So, I've booked 2 hours every
Tuesday evening to study. Simply by having this in my calendar, I'm committed to not doing other things instead. Whether your goal is to lose weight, meditate or get healthier - put the time in your calendar (both work and personal calendar can help) and treat that time as sacred!

I do the same thing. I add it to my calendar. A message always pops up on my phone to tell me.
I have weight training in there as well as its not an everyday thing so sometimes I forget to do them. This way I dont 😀

That is great idea. What I usually do is set a reminder on my cellphone. However, I will try to mark this on my actual calendar hanging on my wall. Actually writing it will help me remember.
Great tip. Let us see what other community members have to say about this. Regards!

I love making appointments with myself in my calendar. It motivates me and makes the goal/plan more likely to happen. I thing I need to make sure even more is a reminder to check my calendar. I set a notification on my phone for the beginning of the day every day.
