2 Issues, one solved.

Last week my Blaze started to have an issue at midnight every night and needed to be restarted every day to be able to sync with the app on my iPhone. I uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app and set up the Blaze as a new device. This solved that particular issue. Now syncs as it should.

This week on Monday I cycled to work ( about 15 to 20 mins ) and the Blaze automatically recorded it as an outdoor cycle on the app. I cycled home and it didn't acknowledge the return journey, and since then it hasn't acknowledged any of my cycles to work or back. This is annoying as the cycling is a major part of my daily fitness goals.

Can anyone help?

Welcome to the forums!

I would use the Exercise mode to make sure you capture. Sometimes relying on Smart track just doesn't work. Its better to make sure you capture what you want

You can have 7 shortcuts. this article will explain how to set them up and then use them on your device
How to customize exercises on device

The manual is here and can help a lot as well

Thankyou for your suggestion, although it doesn't fundamentally address the issue of why a feature would work one moment and then not the next. To say I shouldn't relay on smart track seems to suggest the product has reliability issues with one of its main features. To have to work around this isn't really a solution. I don't want to have to remember to set the device to record and track exercise I perform, smart track was one of the reasons I bought the device in the first place. Is this a known issue?
