I'm confused about what active minutes is. I started using my Blaze yesterday afternoon!
Today I logged in my workout and then have gone about my day. It says I have 9'active minutes, why doesn't it count my hour workout? I was certainly active then.
Thanks!

I think active minutes are one of the most confusing things with fitbit and understanding them is more of an art than a science.
You only get them when fitbit thinks you have been particularly active, not just mildly active. Fitbit says:
"Your Fitbit tracker recognizes and awards active minutes when the activity you're doing is more strenuous than regular walking, which includes everything from a brisk walk to a cardio workout or run."
It gets further complicated when you manually log an activity as it has to make assumption about your level of activity.
There is a help file on active minutes at http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1379/ which may help understand how it works.

Welcome to the Forums @Joyefulart and @SteveH thanks for stopping by.
What exactly were you doing in that hour? Keep in mind that in order to earn active minutes you need to be constant in the workout you are doing. If you are running and stopped the run in the second 58 that minute won't count as active. For more information about active minutes, I recommend taking a look at our What are active minutes? article.
See you around.
