Adding Activity

Sometimes my Blaze doesn't pick up my exercise, specifically walking for 30+ minutes.
1. Why not and what is the solution?; and
2. When I add the activity in, it increases my steps. So until I sink, my fb says one thing and app/web says something else. I feel like the steps are getting counted twice. aren't the steps already accounted for while walking?

Why not use the exercise tracking function on the blaze?

Before starting off, swipe to exercose, them choose walk,  now your not worried about whether tje role will be auto detected.

I have done that. It picks up the exercise sometimes and sometimes not. I
don't understand why.

Hello @mrskdhill@Corvettekid and @Rich_Laue! hope you are doing great. 🙂 @mrskdhill that's odd, I would like to ask some questions to better understand your issue with logging activities. Your activities are not being recorded, even if you use the exercise mode on your Blaze? Have you tried using SmartTrack? Did you review on your activity log to see if the walk was recorded?

To answer your second question,  if you log an activity, its step and calorie data override the data automatically detected by your tracker during the same time period. This ensures that your steps are not counted twice as long as the manually logged activity has the correct start time and duration.

@Corvettekid you can add up to 7 activities to your Blaze, to do so please go to your device settings, scroll down to exercise shortcuts and select the desired activities. Click on save, then sync your tracker and you are ready to go. You can select the following exercises:

I'll be around if you have any questions! 🙂
