Always connected feature enabled by default

When I added the Blaze, I noticed that Always Connected (improves reliability of device syncing, notifications, etc) was enabled by default. I've always had this disabled on my Charge HR. Wouldn't having this on by default hurt the supposed 5-day battery?

Strange as when I set my Blaze up it didnt have that option enabled by default....but to answer your question in the help section I found this....

"HOW OFTEN DOES MY TRACKER SYNC AUTOMATICALLY?

Your tracker syncs with the Fitbit app every time you open the app, or periodically throughout the day if you have all-day sync turned on. Some customers find that all-day sync causes the battery on their mobile device to drain too quickly. If this happens, you can disable all-day sync."

This is different from "all day sync", which is also enabled by default and which I've always had enabled. This is at the very bottom and called Always Connected.

I see the all day sync do you not see the always connected you speak of.

In FItbit app, press the device Blaze, then press again. Scroll to bottom:

In doing some searching, I came across this thread:  (different device, but I would imagine the concept is the same)

https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-HR/quot-Always-connected-quot-and-quot-All-day-sync-quot/m-p/...

Maybe that will help explain it some......

True tye always connected is a f7nction of the phone app, and not the tracker.
