Amazon LLC selling damage fitbits

This is the fitbit I received from Amazon LLC website. Seems to be a repackaged item sold as a brand new item. Very shady indeed. Requested a refund and we will see how it goes from there.

Who was the seller, in the USA a remanufactured unit has to be stamped remanufactured.

Rich Laue. The seller was Amazon. It was not a third party seller from Amazon. This product was supposed to be brand new.

Amazon is both a website and a fulfilment center. A seller can setup a store on Amazon and ship the product directly from their warehouse. Or the can have an an Amazon FBA( Fulfillment By Amazon), this is where the sellers product is stored in Amazons warehoise. Then shippimg becomes the responsibility of Amazon, not the store. Either way Amazon does not sell the product.
