When you switched back to Go SMS, did you go into the phones settings and set Go SMS as the default messaging application?

I have a galaxy note 3 and would get multiple messages on my blaze until I actually read the message on my phone. After reading a number of "solutions" I went to messages settings on my phone and found that under Notifications it was set to send notifications every 2 minutes. I changed it to never... we'll see if that solves the multiple message problem.
