Okay thank you again for replying to my post, i figured out what was making me receive multiple same text [2x]. I use a Go Sms app as my default for text messaging and when i switched back to my phones messaging i was only recieving one message on my blaze but when i switched back to my Go Sms app i would recieve 2 of the same message, guess its just the price ill have to pay to have my Go Sms app!
Hope this helps anyone else, thanks guys!

Restarting your Blaze isn't going to change any settings in the phone or Fitbit app, which is what is sending the multiple notifacations to the Blaze. There have been other discussions on this subject, ands on not aware of any resplendent yet.

Check your notification settings to see if you have notifications set to repeat.

When you switched back to Go SMS, did you go into the phones settings and set Go SMS as the default messaging application?

Yes its set as my default on my blaze and my phone, the only rational i can think of is that even though my messages are sent to the Go Sms i still get them in my regular messaging app to i just cant reply to them without switching it back over to my default.

I have a galaxy note 3 and would get multiple messages on my blaze until I actually read the message on my phone. After reading a number of "solutions" I went to messages settings on my phone and found that under Notifications it was set to send notifications every 2 minutes. I changed it to never... we'll see if that solves the multiple message problem.

I'm happy to report that my solution worked for me. You need to make the adjustment on your phone!
