Anyone else not getting sleep stages?

I've been told by FitBit that it just doesn't work with my body (my words, not theirs) but then I was also told there is a problem with the FitBit App and they are working on it.  They closed my case so I have no idea what's going on.  Just wondering if I'm the only one with this issue.  I've had my Blaze for a month or so now and have only gotten sleep stages once.

Hey there @DawnMD. Great to see you around! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with your sleep stages not working on your Fitbit Blaze 😕

I'm not sure what you were exactly told from our team about the Blaze not working with your body, but there are a few tips that I could suggest to see if we can get your Blaze to record your sleep stages.

First of all, I'd like you to restart your tracker. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot. Once you've restarted your tracker, please take a look at the following tips:

If you're seeing Sleep Patterns instead of the Sleep Stages, there are a few scenarios where you might see this (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed).
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Keep this in mind to ensure that your tracker will perform optimally during the night and anything else you may need, I'm here to help!
