Hi All,
On the Blaze product page, it states: "See notifications on screen, like calls, texts, calendar events and push notifications from apps like Gmail, Facebook & more."
One of the top features that I am looking for in a smartwatch/fitness tracker is to have all the notifications that I receive on my iPhone to also display on watch.
Based on the statement above, it sounds like this is true for some apps but when I look in these forums, it sounds like it's still just calls and text alerts.
Can anyone clarify this? Is the statement "apps like Gmail, Facebook & more" really true?
If it is true, is there a listing of apps that do work?
Thanks all.

Hi Joerojas!
Currently the Blaze is only able to receive texts and calendar alerts. However, there is a soon to be released firmware upgrade for the Blaze that will allow it to recive anything that you can get on your phone, or this is how I understand it.

@joerojas @SunsetRunner That would be correct.

will we be able to limit them? or is it all or nothing? I would like more notifications on the Blaze, but not necessarily ALL the ones i get on my phone.
Any info on WHEN this much anticipated update is coming? I'm checking at least hourly (all that syncing is probably killy my battery life)

@Codymc You'll be able to select which app notifications you want, and which ones you don't want within the device settings of the Fitbit app.
Your guess is as good as mine, but I would say very soon.

once your phone gets a app notification, it will get sent to the app notification section in the Blaze/Fitbit app for you to choose whether you want a notiofication. So far i got snapchat, instagram, apple photostream, fitbit, facebook, fb messenger and the 7/11 app lol ( hey, it equates to free slurpees for my kids)
so just keep checking that section in your app and you wil see what if you have on your phone is supported

Can we expect the same functionality for Charge 2 (in the near future) ?
