I set my phone to manually record my run, this was recording all the way round along with the GPS data. When I got home there was a notification that Fitbit has auto recorded, and this has seemingly deleted all my GPS and pace data, along with half my training session.
A) why has this happened?
B) can I get it back?

It's great to welcome you @Sleepyash.
Did you make sure to select the your running activity directly from the Blaze? Did it stop at the middle of your exercise?
Regarding your inquiries, sometimes the tracker disconnects from your phone and it doesn't allow to record your activity. If the activity has already been auto detected, I recommend leaving it there, since your map won't appear if you manually log it.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi, i started the activity straight from the phone as my watch has previously been as unreliable logging runs. I started it as soon as I set out and it didn't stop at all. I stopped it when I got home and that's when an "auto detected" message appeared. There was no map data recorded with this auto run, and the run i recorded by starting and stopping was totally gone.
I've accepted that it's lost this run information, I'd like some explanation so that i can trust it in the future.
