First of all I would encourage everyone to step away from fitbit. They have decided not to stand behind the products they produce. I was gifted a fitbit a few years ago when diagnosed with a medical condition which has required me to lose weight and get in shape. I tried this watch a noticed that it would randomly turn off for no reason. I decided to put it up due to functionality issues from it and some other medical issues that limited my exercises. Well I am able to get out to exercise and the doctor told me hey get a tracker. So i dusted back off tried it again with the same issues. I texted CS to discuss how to fix it and read the message boards and discovered this was a manufactuers defect with these units. They told me they would not repair or replace it. I thought wow that is about as poor as it gets. 35% discount is what they offered. So lets do some math. 150.00 for the blaze that never worked. 100.00 bucks for the bands that were bought. Now i get a whopping 35 % off to buy what another fitbit that may or may not work with the bands that i have to have for my condition. Someone please give me a reason to spend anymore money with them.

Hi @HEAVY-D I was a Blaze user myself and these devices don't last forever. When you stopped using it and put it away, the battery died, which can happen. The Blaze was retired over three years ago and was replaced by the Versa series. Customer support can't replace something that is no longer being made and they've never done repairs. People come here to post about issues they have and not everyone with a Blaze had had those problems. None of my real life friends and family ever post on the forums because they have no need to - they are content with being active and using their Fitbits. I'm not sure if I can convince you to try another Fitbit, but you posted here for a reason. Get another Fitbit with your discount and give it a shot. You have 45 days in which to return the device, so you should use that time to really see if you like it. Take time to read up on the different styles and see which one best suits you. The newest released Fitbit styles normally can't be purchased using the discount, so be sure you pick one that can. Let us know what you do @HEAVY-D

@LeVuong did you read what @HEAVY-D posted? They already got with customer support and the only help they can get is a discount on another Fitbit. Again, @LeVuong , as nice as it is that you want to help, you need to read what is posted before you respond. If they contacted support again, they would only get the same response, so why suggest that to them?
