Back button doesn’t work

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve seen some videos showing that other people have the same problem, but none have a solution. Is there any way I can fix it? I have tried restarting it, but since the back button doesn’t work, it just tries to show me notifications.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @JesseSibbley

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that the back button on your device doesn't work. Thank you for your efforts to resolve this by doing a restart. I recommend trying to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button. If this does not improve the button performance, you can try to clear debris using canned air. Hold the tracker at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button.

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

I had my Blaze for over three years and this afternoon my left button just stopped. I cleaned it and everything but it still does not work.  I tried getting support from the app on my phone but it says that it was having trouble connecting and try back later.  I held down the left button for the 10 seconds but it does not do anything.

Support was not able to help me as they told me to restart the watch.
Which cannot be done if the back button does NOT work!!

Do you have any other suggestions?

I talked to someone on live chat.  They helped me but my button doesn't even click anymore like the other two.  My Fitbit isn't under warranty anymore but gave me a link to 25% off a new one.

Thanks - I have the same problem with back button not even clicking
anymore. Quite honestly I am not even going to bother going with another
FitBit as this is the second product that has packed up after less than 2
years. Time to move to Garmin or Polar. Previously I had a Polar which is
still working after after 12 years! !
