I purchased a Blaze and it works fine. I purchased a second Blaze for my wife. Her Blaze seriously undercounts her steps. I've watched her walk, swinging arms, and see no reason it should be undercounting. She is shorter than I am, and obviously more steps to cover the same distance. We walk together and I always have more steps. And, no, she's not pushing anything or carrying anything in her hand with the Blaze. Is this just a bad unit? Are there any known issues with the quality of the sensors that detect the steps? It sure seems like you have a QA/QC problem. It appears like we need to just return this unit as defective.
