@SunsetRunner The majority of the food brands sold at Aldi are Aldi's private label brands. I don't know where you are located, but I suspect these private label brands just aren't in your area's database. Some private label brands are in the US database, but that might be based on size.
Aldi is a German based company. Try switching your food database to Germany and see what happens. You can change the food database by choosing Account > Advanced Settings > Food Database.

Best Answer@SunsetRunner I tried the barcode scanner using the German food database on a product I picked up since my initial response. It scanned just fine.
I don't do a lot of barcode scanning, but I believe that once you scan something, it is in your food record. I hope that after a while you won't have to switch databases too often.
