Battery and floors issues

I've had my Blaze 3 months and loved it. First month, it needed recharging between 3 and 4 days. Now it is at half capacity just 10 hours after full charge. It has me climbing stairs (3 floors) when I walk over 7,000 steps. Should I shut it down periodically or is this an issue with Blaze?

See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

A warm welcome to the Community @Walkmoresitless and @WendyB thanks for stopping by.

Regarding the battery issue, I recommend taking a look at this post and follow the instructions provided there. Also, your Blaze may give you credit for extra floors for a variety of reasons. Occasionally your tracker may detect pressure changes unrelated to elevation gains, such as a gust of wind, weather change, or opening a door. Exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors being counted. This happens if the pathway to the altimeter on the back of your tracker becomes temporarily blocked with sweat or water. You can try to restart your tracker and test it.

Let me know the outcome. Robot Happy

I cleaned, rebooted, have the Bluetooth off and turned off  wrist function. Still 2 days max on battery. First 6 weeks I had it I could go about three days. Nothing seems to extend battery beyond the 2 day mark.  One thing worth mentioning,  if it shows full charge in charger, if I take it out then back in it show 3/4 charge and I have to leave it in for another hour.
