Battery display not right

So, a couple of days ago, I noticed that my blaze was on low battery and charged it up to about halfway because I was short on time.

The following morning, I charged it up in full but by the end of the day it was saying low battery.

Friday, I charged it up in full again but again by the end of the day I had the low battery symbol

I checked the forums on here and it was suggested to allow the device to run down completely and shut itself off before trying to charge it.

Well, late Friday night the flashing low battery sign came on and I thought that it would be completely run down by the morning. I was wrong - it's Saturday night now and still flashing.

So now I'm thinking that the display might be wrong.

Anyway, any ideas how I can run that battery down a bit quicker. I had the stopwatch function going for two hours and it still hasn't run out of power!!

Anybody had this before with a Blaze?

Hi, @ShellyDRadio, letting your battery run to total discharge is NOT at all a good idea.  It won't hurt much if you do it only occasionally, but every deep discharge will bit by bit shorten your battery's life so it is definitely not something you should do to "help" issues.  It will not solve problems and may create new ones.  Bad advice!

The best advice is to keep your battery at 30-80% as much as possible.  Charging little and often is absolutely fine.  If you plug it in every day when you shower you may find you never get the battery low message.

For your current issue I would suggest carrying out a restart.  This will shut down any background activities that may be causing unusual battery drain.  After that, charge it until you get a notification from your app that it is fully charged.  Moving forward, little and often is the key to prolonging battery life.
