from what I understand it's that on a Windows phone you can choose which tracker its the main tracker you want to use. I an on Android so I'm not sure how that works.
For me anytime I sync the app will check and try to sync every tracker, that's all 4, connected to my account. The purpose I believe is so that throughout the day they are kept in sync, so that it makes it easy to pick up the tracker I want to use and know how many steps one done today.
Now ok the computer, since the software is not logged into a single account, it first checks to see what trackers it can locate, then syncs then all. I've seen my system sync my 5 trackers, and three neighbours trackers with one sync session.
On the phone, the two main trackes are setup for all day sync, with the other 2 all day is turned off. Now when the app is turned on it will first try to sync all 4, this is normal.
