Battery life not lasting

It takes forever for my battery to charge and sometimes it deletes the charge do I need a new charger or a new product maybe a Apple Watch?

Hello @Mb58, welcome to the Community Forums!

 

Let me share with you that the battery of our Blaze device was designed to last 5 days but this also depends on how frequently you use it’s features. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit device with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much. After doing so, please this help article for more tips and recommendations.

 

Such article includes as restart process that will refresh device device's performance.

Never had problems before just started the batter starts to change and take as all day to get half a charge and then sometimes it just goes to red in a blink of a eye

I work in a prison and therefore do not use any of the features. I only use it for steps and to count down my lunch break. I have to charge it about every 12 hours. This has been going on for some while. I have talked to them and go no real help. I did buy a new charger and have been using it and no improvement.
