Battery life

Ok, so I have had my Blaze for approximately 9 months. It has worked great until the last week to 2 weeks. I have done all of the recommended things about turning off notifications, etc. all I am tracking is my steps, distance, heartrate and sleep. In the last week it has gotten worse. I went to work with it fully charged yesterday and before 10 hours has passed, yep dead again. Charged it fully in the evening, put it on right before going to bed and woke up 6.5 hours later to a dead battery.

I am very disappointed in this and feel like I have wasted my money on an inferior product that does not work as advertised.

is there a "reset" that can be done tk fix this because there is nothing left to turn off or deactivate on my Blaze, well short of not using it at all. Oh ya that is what I am doing now because it dies within 8 hours of charging fully.

At this point I would like to know about returning this product and getting a refund.

Thanks

I just got my blaze a few days ago.  I charged it fully last night and then put it back on before I went to sleep becuase I like the sleep timing function.  When I woke up the battery is already on low.  This is extremly disappointing.  None of the features should be using that much battery that it drains that much in less then 8 hours.

Same here. Got my Blaze this week. Charge not lasting 48 hrs.  My FitBit Charge lasted longer.

I had the surge before and even when running, it lasted longer then the Blaze!  This is really frustrating.

I got mine in June and it worked great until about a week ago. After going about 5 days without being charged it died (for the first time). Ever since then only lasted a day and now only holds a charge for 3 hours before dying, which obviously makes it totally unusable.

I'm starting to think that all fitbit products are total junk, I went through 2 Flex's, lost the first one because of the plastic peice that attaches it randomly falling off (like it always did) while it was at the store somewhere, On my second one I went through like 4 of the bands because they would either become discolored or break after a month.

Very disappointed...

I don't have those issues though. Any of them.

I did however replace the stock charger with something from Amazon which allows me to not pop the tracker out when I need to charge it. This is directly plugged into my Xbox One for personal reasons, ie multiplayer death matches on GTA Online, or playing Prominence Poker. From the Low Battery Warning it'll take about 90 minutes minimum to charge up to full, 120 minutes max. The manual says between 60-120 minutes.

But if people are saying that their tracker lasts less than 5 days, that should be looked into. 4 if you have your phone going full tilt with all the notifications on.

This sounds like the same issue I am having. Really frustrating at this point. I think my problem started after I updated the blaze with the latest firmware.

@HelloFargo

Even with the new firmware I don't have that issue.

THis is the exact same issue I'm having.  I've tried shutting down all the features that are supposed to drain the battery, and I'm still having to charge this thing everyday.  The last test I'm doing is charging it up to max and shutting it off.  If the battery loses charge while turned off, this things going back to the store.

I would, on the Blaze, go to settings - shutdown - tap - confirm, then press any button to turn it back on.

This will reset any stuck hardware
