Blaze Dashboard and Challenge Inconsistencies

Hi there - I've been experiencing issues with my Blaze syncing properly to challenges since the update. My totals are consistently 5K+ off from what my total should be per the "Gameplay & Rules" instructions. Today it is 11K off. I've read the other forums and am aware of time zone issues and also about the GPS tracking feature messing with challenge totals. I know these aren't the issues for me, as I never use the "Exercise" function enabling GPS (at least that I'm aware of) - I'm vanilla, using no "fitstar" or selecting an exercise to track - also, when my steps sync to another portal, like my insurance rewards program, it matches my dashboard.

I've also noticed that the auto-tracking feature is sporadically inaccurate, for example when my Blaze auto-tracks my walks and runs it'll reflect the accurate time walked, but give inaccurate info on steps/calories, most reading "+0" steps of daily total and only 20 calories (for a 20 minute run at 6 mph+ speeds). I still get "credit" for those steps in my daily total on dashboard, it's just not reflecting accurately when I click on that activity under "Exercise" in the app. Other days it appears fine, with no difference in how I'm wearing the tracker.

Anyone have any thoughts on these? I'm getting pretty discouraged with the challenges. How can I compete when dashboard doesn't match my challenge total and I'm 11K off?! Smiley Sad

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @KYBoxerGal when you see the "+0" on the activity auto-recognized by your tracker, you see that on both the Fitbit app and on your Dashboard on a PC?

I work overnights so my sleep schedule is normal except for this:

On my days off (Friday and Saturday), I'll go to bed on Thursday night and sleep in like any other normal person will do, except that my sleeping in will carry over into Friday morning. Friday afternoon same deal. Except that I will wake up Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon, I'll sleep and wake up Saturday evening. The app will combine the Saturday total, but in reality, it does know I started sleeping Friday afternoon if I check the log, even though nothing is recorded on Friday. Therefore nothing is logged for Friday as sleep, even though I started sleeping Friday afternoon and woke up Saturday morning.

I manually initiate sleep as the phone is the last thing I put down and obviously the first thing I pick up.

Hey @Driver8666 thank you for the clear explanation of your routine to understand your case. Please post a screen shot of your sleep record on Friday - Saturday so that I can take a look at it?
