So, all of a sudden over the last week my blaze started discharging very quickly, to the point where I was having to recharge it every day. Hadnt changed any settings or done anything any different so it was a bit of a mystery. On checking the app i noticed that it had not synced for the last 4 days.
I contacted support via live chat and spoke to a very helpful lady who took me through various troubleshooting routines which involved, diabling the bluetooth, restarting my tracker, force closing the app, restarting the phone, reinstalling the app. My tracker seems to have been in some sort of loop where it was trying to sync but was unsucceful, however, it was trying 24hours a day which was draining the battery.
After carrying out all of the above and reinstalling everything, it is syncing correctly and my battery life has returned to how it was previously.

See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery
