Battery not charging properly.

Hi...I've had my Blaze for 18 months now and up until last week has worked really well with out problems. Now I am having problems with charging it. I put it on charge overnight then the next day when I put it on my wrist the battery died in less than 2 hours. I put it in the charger again, thinking maybe it didn't connect properly the last time, and it showed the battery as being half charged. Ok so I took it out of the charger and wore it again, it died within minutes. I've gone back an forth like this several times over the last few days. I've restarted the watch, carefully cleaned the watch and terminals and checked for updates but same thing, charger says watch battery is full when it's not and won't charge any further, meaning I have to charge it every 2 hours through out the day and missing out on tracking steps etc. Would love any suggestions on what's can be done to fix this problem.

My last three (within 2 years) have done the same thing and the only option for me has been to replace them.  If it's purchased within one year, they will replace it for free.  After that you get a 20% discount off a new one.  The one I have now was purchased in January and as of yesterday, having battery charging problems again.  I think I'm about done trying....

Someone told me yesterday the batteries only last about 2 years so I'm a
bit disappointed. If I had known that I wouldn't have spent $350 on my
Blaze, would have bought a cheaper one.

Hi,

Thanks for your replies. Last night again i tried charging and found out that there was a acidic leakage from the Heart Monitor glass. Since the battery is placed just underneath such cover, i think that the battery is leaking. Please can Fitbit or anybody accord a solution where do i take my watch for repairs in India since it had cost me Rs 19000 for the watch in March 2018 which was equivalent to USD 300 approximately. I think i might have made a grave mistake and got swayed by the Fitbit Brand rather then checking first whether they have a service setup in India.

Regards
