I've had my Blaze for over a year and I used to charge it once a week. Now, seems after every update I have to charge it more. I fully charged it Sunday evening 05/14 and I had to charge it today 05/17. Has anyone else experienced fast battery drain?

I use to only have to charge mine twice a week and now I have to charge it every day. I turned off notifications and turn down the brightness. I'm not sure what changed. I have had mine since November.

I'm sorry to hear that the battery on your trackers is not lasting as it should 😕
The battery on a Fitbit Blaze should last for at least 5 days with a regular usage. At the moment, I can recommend putting it to charge and once it's fully charged, take it off the cradle and put it on. Sync it and use it as you would normally do. Make sure to sync it frequently after this so that the battery levels are recorded on the app logs and once the battery dies, let me know so that I can take a closer look and then we can move forward with other options for you to get you back on track.

This is definitely happening with me as well. I now need to charge it once every 3 days. The only thing that has changed with my system is with the updates.

I know I use a lot of bells on whistle on mine and was OK with having to charge it twice a week but daily is getting a little old. I'll follow your directions and let you know what happens.

Totally @heatherRiff. That's not the way the battery should be working. You should get to use your tracker at least 4-5 days without charging it.

Ferdin,
My husband has the FitBit charge and has charged it to 100% and it still is having to be charged every 2 days. Is this something you can look into for him?

I am having the same problem since the new update. Used to charge it every 4-6 days, now charging it every other, at most every 3 days. I will do as you suggested and let you know what happens.

Hello, @FerdinandFitbit I'm happy to be here. Something weird may have happened because the same day I had the battery problem I couldn't sync. I turned off the Fitbit and turned back on a couple of times before sync worked again. Usually, I sync before I leave in the morning and nightly when I come back. I'll keep any eye on it and inform.

All posts of the battery issue , havent the software developers at Fitbit figured out yet how to fix it!?
My problem started with the new software update and got worse when I got Samsung S8+.
Tell me that Fitbit developers are on to it!! Please!

Hi, Ferdin:
I charged it up and have been using it as normal. I think the only thing I have not turned back on is the Quick View. I'm still charging it every other day. I know you mentioned something about looking at my battery record. I'm currently charging it right now. Do you need me to stop charging it in order for you to look at the battery history?

@angelofmine04 @UNLEARNED_SWORD, I'm sorry you're having problems with this but thanks for giving my suggestion a try and as soon as you can confirm that the battery on your tracker is dying before 5 days, be sure to let me know and I'll be happy to go from there!

You don't need to send me anything, just please follow the suggestion of charging it completely and then using it and keep in mind to constantly sync so that our team can review the records on their end and you just tell me when the battery runs out for me to escalate your case.

I'm getting my 2nd replacement this week. I don't know what the deal is with the Blaze. Bummed that I can only get 2 days on a charge. Is there a new software issue? I sure hope it gets fixed as I loved my Blaze and am bummed that I've had to get 3 now.

I just want to mention that I have had this problem since I upgraded my cell phone to the Galaxy S8+, which I have seen on other forums that is where the problem is stemming from. However, I do appreciate your help and feedback. But unfortunately my Blaze has broken, I am currently waiting on a replacement as we speak. Something happened to the back/home button, and it no longer works. But you guys provide amazing customer service, and I am looking forward to continuing to be a long time customer!

At the moment, I can't confirm that this is due to the firmware update as this is not a general issue but I would expect your new tracker to work properly. If you have any problem with it when you receive it, let me know and I'll be happy to look into it for you!

Yes. I too put mine on the charger Saturday night around 10:30pm and charged it all day Sunday, 5/21 then took it off the charger Sunday night around 9pm and I have a dead battery as of this morning, 5/23. This is happening more and more frequent. This is really getting annoying. I even took off some of the features and notifications and that didn't improve the battery life.
