Bike activity tracking distance off by 40%

I did a 53km bike ride with Blaze connected to iPhone with GPS enabled.

  • The distance was completely wrong (30km tracked vs 53km cycled).
  • The actual bike route was correctly tracked (the map in iOS shows the correct route!)
  • The time was correctly tracked.
  • I started the tracking from the Blaze - Exercise - Bike function.

  •

Use Phone GPS was On in Bike settings on Blaze.

Any suggestions?

I am sorry to hear about the accuracy issue you are experiencing with your Blaze. Could you please provide me with some screenshots of this information?

Sure. Here's the a screenshot from the app:

This is not 29km, it's ~53km.

53 km is 33 miles, which is within a 10% margin of error for 29 miles (which would still be disappointing but at least not out by nearly 50%).
