When is the Black bracket (vs stainless) blaze going to be available? It's pictured at the 16s point in this CES video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roUGsE_tgLE

I like the tactile response of the buttons , over fitbits, of these aftermarket frames

I got a frame from Pinhen on amazon, they seem to have a range of colours (mine is rose gold/copper) and they have the rubber bits in the same as the fitbit frame, blaze doesnt move at all within the frame and the buttons press just as easily if not easier.

Looks like FitBit officially released the black frame version...with $29 price increase.

I saw the black frame today too. How do they justify a $29 increase over the stainless steel frame? It's just a frame with a different color! And what about those of us who already bought one but would have rather had a black frame? There is no option to purchase just the frame. I'm getting more and more disappointment in Fitbit the longer I own the Blaze. Having been a loyal Fitbit customer for over 4 years and 4 trackers (upgrades, none malfunctioned) this is severly disappointing!

i am thinking that this part of the latest release in response to what the customer really wanted. but really $30.00 more for a different color?
maybe the 3rd party sellers were quicker? Look on the box to see where your Blaze is manufactured.
Look at where the 3rd party sellers frames and bands are manufactured. (although many of the Prime ones come from Kentucky)
today i am wearing a Pink matte frame ($11.99) with a stainless mesh milanese loop band (like iridescent gold called *colorful*) $23.00. the frame is identical to the original fb except the color, same weight, thickness, snaps tight. the band attached easily and holds well with the pins (I had the jeweler show me how its done--tweezers and go in from the bottom).
i usually change my band when i charge the Blaze--every 3 days or to match what i wear to work. I took the original rubber band off in late march--never used it again due to the rash on the bottom of my wrist.

Do you see thise two black nibs, they are made of rubber, the Fitbit's version stick out a little further, ate maybe consistantly. This allows our to grab the Blaze unit better.
I day consistant since the Blue frame holds tighter than the Black frame does.
