Blaze Battery Draining Fast

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have had my FitBit Blaze for 2 years this December, and I’ve absolutely loved it. I have never had a single issue with it until now. My battery drains extremely fast. It will not even last one day. I had the raise to wake feature on, but I was noticing that once it did wake up, it did not go back to sleep again, therefore, the clock view was staying on way to long, in turn draining my battery. To solve this problem I turned that feature off, thinking it would solve the problem... it didn’t. Now, when I get a notification, the notification stays on, and keeps vibrating until I click clear all, but then we are back to the clock view, that stays on all day even though that feature is off.

Solutions I have tried:

-cleaned charger (I can get it to fully charge, not a problem, but it I only lasts 1/2 a day.

-cleaned watch

-restarted

Please advise. I love my FitBit Blaze.

I had a similar issue where it would drain in less than a day, the issue was it didn’t have a strong connection with my phone and it was dying before the end of the day...

i don’t know about the vibrating, you might want to look in your settings for that. 🙂

I purchased my Blaze in August of 2017.  Over time the battery life kept getting shorter and shorter.  In Dec 2019, the battery would not charge at all.  Contacted Fitbit, they gave me some things to try to no avail.  Since warranty expired, their only solution was to offer me a 25% discount to be used within 30 days.  I told them no thanks and I will shop for my replacement with one of their competitors.  These devices are not cheap, I payed $200 for mine.  I believe they should last more than 2 1/2 years.  I recommend any one shopping for a fitness device to shop elsewhere.

Agreed. Unfortunately Fitbit doesn’t offer a repair program. So if your watch has problems after a year, consider it garbage. This type of practice is not environmentally sound. They should offer a repair program. Not offer a discount for another watch which will eventually be garbage after a year or 2.
