I am thinking about purchuasing the Blaze and I am just wondering if anyone has had any trouble with the tracker popping out of the metal casing? It seems that if the only way to charge it is to remove the whole thing then the casing might get lose or the tracker would get some wear.

I'd be surprised if anyone has (but will watch this thread with interest). The way the casing works is that the tracker can only come out one way - towards the wrist. If the tracker did become loose then you would have to be wearing the strap very loose for there to be enough room for it to pop out.
I've not (yet) noticed any loosening of the tracker within the case although I do have 2 cases (one plastic, one metal) so perhaps haven't worn them as much as others have.
Best AnswerThere is 4 semi hard rubber bumpers to hold the Blaze. I don't see it wearing the Blaze down.

It does get looser over time. Not to the point where it falls out, but after a while it takes very little pressure to pop out the tracker. When I replaced my original frame with an aftermarket matte black one, the original was very loose. After a month or so with the aftermarket one it was still as snug. I'm now using another aftermarket frame made of plastic that surrounds the whole tracker around the perimeter. Protecting the upper and lower edges that are exposed with the original. Time will tell how wel this one holds up. But so far I really like it.
Best AnswerI dont think it gets loser over time, but since it is only a few months old who can say. I think it is more a case of the user not noticing the slight movement at tye time of setting it up.

Hello @sml123 welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope @MikeS1971, @Rich_Laue and @SteveH replies help you decide if you want to purchase the Blaze. My tracker has not pop out of the frame once, I just make sure to place it properly and I'm ready to go!
Hope you decide to buy the Blaze! 🙂
