Hey guys,
I have paired my Blaze with my phone using the "Blaze (Classic)" connection so I can control my music during a workout.
The thing that's bugging me is the Blaze stays connected for ages, sometimes hours after I have used it for music control or it connects randomly throughout the day when I'm not using music control and it stops other bluetooth devices, mainly my car bluetooth handsfree from connecting.
Surely the Blaze (Classic) connection should disconnect after you have stoped using music until you need it again.
Am I missing something here or are others having this issue?
Thanks
M

Having an iPhone, I don't use the Classic connection so I can only answer from theory but I thought the connection was supposed to be pretty much permanent when switched on (which means it will reconnect whenever it can in practice).

As far as I can tell on Android you have 2 connections, one that deals with the sync of data etc which is pretty much the the permanent one as far as I can tell, and then there's the classic one which is the music control.
There doesn't seem to be any logic for its connection and ends up blocking other devices.

Can anyone from Fitbit help me here please?

Since tye phones Bluetooth is a server, it should be able to connect to multiple devices at a time, i know there is a limit but not sure if it is 16 or 256.
Now the Blaze being a client is only able to connect to one device at a time.
Yes sombody from Fitbit might answer, if they stumble across your post, in general this area is for fitbit users to help out fellow Fitbit users.
i find the Blaze Classic doesnt stay bonded, but a knownacept BT device. Almost anytime i go to the music screen i have to wait for tye Blaze Classic to connect as a keyboard.
Im mot sayi,g there is no interderance, by you can test this by l=aving the Blaze at least 30-50 feet away cd when approaching the car with your phone.
