When I was travelling in my bus today I noticed that my total steps were rapidly increasing. Another problem which I faced was when I woke up I noticed that my calories burnt were already up to 300.

The Blaze uses its embedded accelerometers and some software magic to determine what type of activity you are performing.
Although pretty good, this is not infallible and it sometimes "thinks" that bumps on the road, especially if your arms move, are steps you are taking.
You could observe a similar issue when biking - sometimes, the Blaze registers steps.
This is not a malfunction but rather a limitation of the current technology.
For the calories, you have to take in account that the Blaze also estimates your basal calories consumption (the calories your body burns for its normal operation). Therefore, even if you remain still, this number will increase slowly.
