I have been increasingly frustrated with my Fitbit Blaze lately.
The issue is that lately my Blaze crashes during my exercises (usually runs). Almost like clockwork, somewhere between 2 and 4 km into my run (although it has happened at other distances as well), the Blaze will restart/reboot. Sometimes I notice, and can start recording a new run right away. But sometimes I don't notice and miss out on data for significant portions of my runs. I'm training for a half marathon so some of my longer runs are broken into 5 or 6 individual runs. I like to keep a record, so I have to manually merge GPX data files so that my workouts show up as a single exercise in Strava rather than a bunch of short ones.
Anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix or hard reset I can do to resolve this? Please help! I'm frustrated to the point of starting to research alternatives. Lately, I'm really drawn to the Garmin Vivoactive 3.

Hi
Feel free to remove the run exercise temporary from the tracker by unchecking the exercise on the devices settings page (fitbit.com). Afterwards sync the tracker to the fitbit account, verify if 'run' isn't listed anymore as exercise.
Feel free restarting the tracker before adding the run exercise back by enabling it on the devices settings page and sync'ing the tracker once more.
Hope it helps

Alright. Just did that. Will see in the next few days if that fixes the issue or not.

I have been having this issue for a while as well now. I have found that tracking Workouts is fine but when Running it seems to only crash and reset when reaching a KM milestone (when I have set the watch to vibrate to show laps). Sometimes I can track a half marathon with no issues, other times it will crash after 1 or 2 KM.

I contacted Fitbit Support. They offered replacement under warranty. However, my confidence in the Blaze itself was low. So I opted to upgrade to the Ionic instead. Much more reliable and has all the fitness features I was missing on the Blaze.
