I am having the same problem with no fix. I called customer support and they told me that nothing was wrong and that I am incorrect. My fitbit only notifies and tracks in 1.61 km increments (which is equal to 1 mile) and I need km. I am really sick of it and ready to buy a Garmin

Hi @A_Aron13 nice to see you on the Forums.
Thanks for contacting the support team. I understand your frustration, sorry for the issues that you're having with your Surge. Did you tried to change the Units on the Settings? You can edit to receive Run Cue alerts in kilometer if you edit the "Unit" option. To do so access to your Fitbit App > Account > Advance Settings > Unit > Km. Or in the Fitbit.com Dashboard under Settings > Personal Info > Unit.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have questions about it!

@YojanaFitbit I have gone through all of the steps, I have tried deleting the app, updated the app and the fitbit, and been over all of the steps multiple times with customer service on the phoneand it still does not work. Customer support has repeatedly told me that there is nothing wrong but I still only receive alerts and track my time based on 1.61km increments (1.61km=1mile) despite having everything set to kilometers

Hi @A_Aron13 thanks for getting back. Thanks for trying those steps as it is what actually works in this case.
But I'd like to try something different, why don't you change the Km to miles, sync your tracker and then change it back to Km and sync it; you can do so from the website Dashboard. If this is not working, I'll pass this information to our team since it should be able to be changed.
Thanks a million for your help on this.
